CHALLENGE
During COVID, Atria’s annual in-person national conferences were no longer possible, creating a sense of disconnection among advisors, partners, and employees at a time when community and leadership mattered most. The challenge was to recreate the energy, engagement, and value of a national conference—entirely remotely—without losing momentum or emotional connection.
APPROACH
The conference was reimagined as a fully virtual experience supported by thoughtful physical touchpoints. A future-focused brand identity and visual system was built around upward perspectives symbolizing new ideas and possibility. The digital conference platform featured keynote sessions from industry leaders, 56 breakout sessions, and a virtual exhibit hall with 57 sponsor booths. To enhance engagement, curated surprise gift boxes were mailed to attendees with timed opening instructions, creating shared moments and anticipation throughout the event.
OUTCOME
The virtual conference successfully maintained connection, excitement, and participation during an unprecedented time. Advisors felt supported and engaged despite physical distance, sponsors remained visible and involved, and the experience reinforced confidence in Atria’s leadership—while building anticipation for the return to in-person events the following year.
